A court decision last Friday ordered the removal from food blog Lovin Dublin of a negative review of Kokoro Sushi Bento on South William St.

The review, which was written by Lovin Dublin's founder Niall Harrison, appeared on the site on November 18, and was shared widely over social media.

TheJournal reports the restaurant began legal proceedings soon after on the basis that the review had included numerous unverified claims.

Lovin Dublin has been ordered to remove all references to the review both on their site and social media channels.

Though initially looking only for the removal of the article, Kokoro Sushi may now push for costs, and apology and compensation due to "considerable losses to the business."

As of today, the only mention of Kokoro on the blog is a short piece on its sister restaurant on Liffey St, which receives a favourable review and places 7th in a list of the best sushi restaurants in the city.
