A court has heard 2 women who were drugged and raped on a night out in Dublin are repulsed by an offer of €20,000 compensation from their attacker.
35-year-old Indian computer expert Kapil Garg was convicted in October of the rapes at Whitefriar Place on July 2nd last year.
He was described as a predator - a persuasive and charming young man who met 2 students outside a nightclub at 3am and lured them back to his place on the pretext that he had ecstasy.
He gave the girls a tablet which was not an 'E' and raped them when they fell asleep.
Apology to victims
He contested the charges but now accepts the verdicts and has apologised to his victims.
One of them says she will always regret going back to a stranger's home.
The computer expert has a previous conviction for breaking into a Los Angeles motel room and groping a woman.
He is to be sentenced tomorrow.
A previous court hearing was told he has been terrorised in Cloverhill Prison and was once held down by two inmates who tattooed a Nazi swastika on his leg.
