There have been another 12,336 cases of COVID-19 reported in Ireland.

6,697 cases have been confirmed via PCR tests, while 5,639 positive antigen test results were registered via the HSE's portal.

The five-day moving average of new cases now stands at 11,404.

The number of patients in hospital with COVID-19 has fallen to 597, down from 610 yesterday.

66 of those are in ICU - a slight increase from the 63 patients in intensive care yesterday.
