HSE figures released this morning show there were 311 patients with the virus in Irish hospitals - down from 328 on Friday.

There are 58 patients in ICU, down one compared to yesterday.

It was confirmed yesterday that 90% of people aged over 18 in Ireland have now been fully vaccinated, with a total of seven million vaccine doses administered to date.
