Cheryl Cole says Simon Cowell was right to sack her from the US version of The X-Factor.
She was axed from the show just weeks after being hired - and has told Elle magazine she 'wasn't well in the head' at the time.
The 31-year-old said: "Now, I can say that Simon was right to get rid of me. I wasn't well in the head when that was going on. But he wasn't right not to tell me to my face."
Cole goes on to explain that she had "completely lost herself" after the breakdown of her marriage to point where she couldn't even make simple decisions like what to eat or drink.
The singer has also revealed she sent a swearword-filled text to Cowell at the time - which ended with 'I hate you'.
She'll take her place on the UK X-Factor judging panel again in the autumn.
