A group representing families impacted by the Creeslough tragedy will meet with the Justice Minister today.
Ten people died in an explosion in the County Donegal village on October 7th, 2022.
Today, the Creeslough Family Support Group, a group representing around 40 people who have been directly affected by the explosion, will meet with Minister Helen McEntee in Dublin.
The group will tell the minister that their trauma to date has been immeasurable and will reiterate the families’ calls for an independent public inquiry.
The families have already raised concerns that their calls could be forgotten when a general election is called.
It is understood the Environment Minister Eamon Ryan and Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue will also attend today’s meeting.
