Lucinda Creighton says her new political party will not prop up a government led by Fine Gael or Fianna Fail.

In an interview with the Sunday Independent, Ms Creighton also ruled out going into government with Sinn Fein, or any group of left wing independent deputies.

The former Fine Gael junior Minister claimed her party already has 16 candidates ready to go before the electorate at the next election.

But she insists her party will only go into government if it can get it's policies implemented.
