A file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Ten people died in the explosion in the County Donegal town on October 7th, 2022.

Three men and one woman have previously been arrested as part of the investigation into the explosion.

All four were released without charge.

The Creeslough Family Support Group, a group representing around 40 people who have been directly affected by the explosion, met with Justice Minister Helen McEntee in late October.

The group told the Minister that their trauma to date has been immeasurable and reiterated the families’ calls for an independent public inquiry.

Robert Garwe and his five-year-old daughter Shauna Flanagan-Garwe, Catherine O’Donnell and her 13-year-old son James Monaghan, 14-year-old Leona Harper, Jessica Gallagher, Martin McGill, James O’Flaherty, Martina Martin and Hugh Kelly were those killed in the explosion.
