A man has been charged with allegedly assaulting a woman on a Go Ahead Bus in Dublin last May.

The court heard 36-year-old Martin Ball of Gleann na hEorna, Springfield in Tallaght was identified after an episode of RTÉ's Crimecall programme.

The assault took place on May 29th last year, in Rathfarnham, Dublin

He was granted bail with a condition not to travel on a specific bus route.

Mr Ball is due to appear again on March 12th , while free legal aid was granted.
