The inquest into the death of a suspected gunman has been adjourned to allow the criminal case to proceed.
26-year-old Tristan Sherry from Finglas died following a violent incident in a restaurant in Blanchardstown, Dublin on Christmas Eve last year.
On that same day, 47-year-old Jason Hennessy Senior was shot as he ate at Browne’s Steakhouse in Blanchardstown - dying 11 days later.
Minutes after he was shot, the suspected gunman 26-year-old Tristan Sherry received a number of injuries and died.
His sister Savanna Hand gave evidence about her experience of formally identifying her brother’s body on Christmas Day at Connolly Hospital.
The inquest began this morning and heard his cause of death was traumatic blunt force head injury combined with sharp injuries to the trunk.
Four men have been charged with his murder and five others with lesser offences.
