A cyclist in his 50s has died after he was hit by a lorry in Dublin this afternoon.
The collision took place at the junction of College Road and Castleknock at around 4.30pm.
No other injuries were reported and the man’s body has been taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for a post-mortem.
A technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators is taking place and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
