A cyclist who was knocked off his bike in Dublin on Monday night has died in hospital.
The man in his 20s was hit by a car while out cycling on North Wall Quay at around 10.30pm.
The victim is believed to be a food delivery rider from Brazil.
He was taken to hospital in a serious condition but passed away from his injuries today.
The car failed to remain at the scene and was later discovered a short distance away.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for witnesses the hit-and-run.
Anyone who was in the area between 10.15pm and 10.30pm on Monday night is being asked to come forward.
A Facebook event says he will be remembered at a candlelit vigil at the Spire this evening.
