A cyclist has died following a crash with a lorry in Dublin City this afternoon.

The crash between an e-bike and a lorry happened on Dolphin's Barn Bridge in south Dublin City around 12.30pm today.

The cyclist was brought to St James' Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

No other injuries were reported.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.     

They are particularly interested in talking to anyone who was in the area and may have dashcam footage.
