A cyclist in his 40s has died following a crash with a car in North County Dublin.
Gardaí said the crash between the bike and the car happened shortly before 9.30am yesterday, February 19th, on the Malahide Road in Kinsealy, Dublin 17.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries.
He was declared dead later that day. No other injuries were reported.
The Malahide Road at Kinsealy was closed for forensic examination and local diversions were in place.
Gardaí in North Dublin are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
They are particularly interested in anyone driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage.
