Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses after a crash in north Dublin that has left a cyclist fighting for his life.

The man aged in his 40s collided with a van on Turvey Avenue at Blake's Cross at around 12:40pm yesterday.

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment where he remains today.
