Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses after a crash in north Dublin that has left a cyclist fighting for his life.
The man aged in his 40s collided with a van on Turvey Avenue at Blake's Cross at around 12:40pm yesterday.
He was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment where he remains today.
A second male cyclist in his mid 30s was also hurt in the incident. However, his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Gardaí say the van involved was a Toyota.
They are now asking anyone with information to call Swords garda station on 01-666-4700, the Garda Confidential Line at 1-800-666-111 or any garda station.
