A cyclist has been seriously injured in Tralee, County Kerry. 

At 12.45 this morning, emergency services were called out to Bracker O’Regan Road in Tralee. 

A man in his 60s, who had been riding an e-bike, was treated for injuries at the scene. 

He was then taken to University Hospital Kerry where he is in a serious condition. 

A technical examination of the scene has been carried out and it has now been re-opened to road users. 

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact Tralee Garda Station.
