Officials in Cyprus have approved the first part of a plan they hope will raise the €5.8 billion needed to secure the much needed bailout before the Monday deadline.
The country's parliament voted on a number of measures last night including the restructuring of a major bank.
The Cypriot President is expected to travel to Brussels today to outline the revised terms of the bailout with the Troika.
