Daft Punk's song 'Get Lucky' - featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers - has won the record of the year at the Grammy Awards.

Song of the year went to Lorde's 'Royals', while Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were named best new artist.

Adele, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna all won awards too.

One of the highlights of the show saw 30 couples get married during a performance of Macklemore's song Same Love, officiated by Queen Latifah.

Daft Punk Get Lucky

The Daft Punk duo - who wear helmets in public - made their first TV appearance in six years to collect their five awards.

Daft Punk, Pharrell Williams and Nile Rogers at the Grammys

The awards, which took place in LA, also featured a rare joint performance by the two surviving Beatles - Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.

It coincides with the 50th anniversary of the band's breakthrough on American television.
