The row over Dáil speaking time has yet to be resolved with a committee meeting today to discuss the issue.
Last week, multiple rows over speaking time allocation resulted in the Dáil chamber being suspended and delayed the election of Micheál Martin as Taoiseach.
The Dáil Reform Group is now hoping to avoid similar scenes when the TDs gather again next week.
The Government does have the numbers to force through a proposal on the reform committee that would grant four TDs who have supported the Programme for Government opposition resources.
However, the leaders of Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Regional Independents Group faced criticism from a united opposition last week on this issue.
The opposition wanted assurances a group of Government-supporting Independent TDs would not take up opposition speaking time.
