Businessman Denis O'Brien has told the High Court he believes an article in the Irish Daily Mail was designed to make him look ridiculous.
The Digicel Chairman is being cross examined as part of his defamation action against the newspaper arising from the piece which was published on January 22nd 2010.
The 54 year old is looking for damages alleging the meaning of the article is that he sought PR for his involvement in the Haitian relief effort as an attempt to divert away from the Moriarty Tribunal.
The Daily Mail argues the article was an honestly held opinion piece.
