Dancing Gardaí have taken to scenic locations around the country to show off their lockdown moves.
The performance is in response to a viral dancing challenge called the ‘Jerusalema.’
Last month, Swiss police posted their own video – warning Gardaí they would never be able to top the “precision, discipline and perfectionism” on show.
We are looking forward to the performance of the @gardainfo ! Even though the 🇨🇭 product of the @ZugerPolizei can hardly be topped in terms of #precision, #discipline an #perfectionism😉.

Today Gardaí answered the challenge, noting that they were aiming to “give the public we serve a lift in these challenging times.”
They are now putting the challenge out to people all across Ireland.

“The public now have the floor,” they said. “So, making sure to stay home and in your bubbles. Post your challenge using #GardaJerusalema we want to see what you can do while staying safe.”
Jerusalema was first released in 2019 and has reached number one in Belgium, Netherlands, Romania and Switzerland since the dance challenge went viral last year.
