Dublin’s minor football team added an extra touch of magic to their celebrations by inviting none other than Harry Potter himself to a house party well past the witching hour.

Page 9 of this morning’s Daily Mail pictures the footballers partying with Daniel Radcliffe who looks gleeful to be photographed alongside the Tom Merkham Cup the players received after their win against Meath in Croker on Sunday.

The footballers had spotted the actor on Grafton Street on Saturday night, got chatting and invited them back to a ‘gaff party’ that captain David Byrne was throwing in Dundrum.

He happily obliged and hung out with the lads until 5a.m.
