US comedian Dave Chappelle has been attacked on stage at the Hollywood Bowl.
The 48-year-old was “charged and tackled” just as his show was ending, according to reporter Brianna Sacks, who was attending the show.
The attacker was then rushed by security and Hollywood star Jamie Foxx, who was also performing at the show.
Video later showed the attacker with what appeared to be a dislocated arm being taken to an ambulance.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) told NBC that the suspect was a man who was armed with a replica gun that could eject a knife blade when discharged correctly.
It is not clear whether the suspect tried to use the weapon.
Fellow stand-up comedian Chris Rock, who was also performing at the show, took to the stage and jokingly asked if the attacker was Will Smith – referencing his own attack at the hands of the King Richard star at this year’s Oscars.
Chappelle later returned to the stage to thank Jamie Foxx for intervening.
“Whenever you're in trouble Jamie Foxx will show up in a sheriff's hat,” he joked.

Chappelle last year faced controversy over his Netflix special ‘The Closer’ which features comments about Transgender people.
The comedian hit out at cancel culture after some Netflix staff took part in a walk-out protest against the streamer’s decision to air the special.
Netflix stood by Chapelle and refused to take it down.
The incident happened at the last of Chappelle's four performances at the venue as part of the ‘Netflix Is a Joke’ comedy festival taking place around LA.
A Hollywood Bowl spokesperson said "an active investigation" was under way.
