David Hasselhoff has changed his name to David Hoff.

Posting a video on Facebook, he said he had been wanting to drop the Hassel from his name for a long time.

The star of the classic TV series Knight Rider and Baywatch has decided to take the hassle out of his life, quite literally.

His name has already been changed to David Hoff on Twitter and YouTube, as well as on Facebook.
