An Irishman has made it to the finals of the Best Job in the World competition.
Allan Dixon and will fly to Australia next month to battle it out with a French woman and an American man for the role of Outback Adventurer.
The winner will get a six month contract as an adventurer in the Northern Territory, and will receive a salary of €79,000.

26 year old Allan is a DCU graduate, and he was chosen from 330,000 applicants for the finals.
He and the other 2 finalists will spend a week exploring the Australian outback, with the task of uncovering the best backpacker experiences and adventures for working holiday makers.
Allan tweeted "my mother is so proud - she started crying. It's still sinking in!"
