The businessman and former Libertas leader Declan Ganley is calling for the ban on political ads on TV to be overturned.
Ganley - who led 'No' campaigns in the Lisbon Treaty referendums - is launching a drive to overturn the ban on TV and radio ads in the Broadcasting Act, which he says is outdated.
The former Libertas leader says itÂ’ i unfair to prevent broadcasters from showing political ads when the ban does not affect print, online media or social networks.
