The prosecution has finished calling evidence in Graham Dwyer's trial for the murder of childcare worker Elaine O'Hara.
The architect from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock denies murdering Elaine O'Hara at Killakee mountain in Dublin in August 2012.
Det Sgt John Colgan has given evidence of Graham Dwyer's fifth and final garda interview following his arrest in October 2013.
He was presented with downloads found on his HTC phone mainly of women being stabbed or strangled.
Graham Dwyer agreed he'd probably accessed them and replied that they were extracts from horror movies – 'I can't explain it,' he said, 'I know it's sick.'
As the interview drew to a close he commented that he was not guilty and that there were lots of other men involved with Elaine O'Hara who gardaí should speak to.
Earlier a leading detective investigating Elaine O'Hara's death agreed in court that leaks to the media following Graham Dwyer's arrest were the worst he'd witnessed in his career.
However under cross examination by Mr Dwyer's lawyers, Detective Sergeant Peter Woods denied that there was a concerted effort by gardaí to make sure of a media presence.
The jury has heard that hours after the architect's arrest in October 2013 garda were at his Foxrock home while a search was underway.
By lunchtime, the national news had information that could only have come from the Garda Pulse system including the fact that the suspect had no previous convictions.
It has been described by defence barrister Remy Farrell as a 'full blown media frenzy' with gardai leaking like a sieve.
Detective Sergeant Woods agreed that while he had been 'fuming' about the leaks they were never investigated.
After 37 days the prosecution has now finished calling evidence and the case will resume before the jury next Wednesday.
