Seven men arrested in connection with the armed raid at the home of a family in Co. Tipperary, earlier this week, have had their periods of detention extended by 24 hours.
The men - who are all from Dublin - appeared before Cashel District Court late last night.
Mark and Emma Corcoran and their three young children were attacked by a gang who broke into their home outside Killenaule in the early hours
of Thursday morning.
The thieves stole cash and jewellery before escaping in two cars, one of which was the family's Kia jeep.
Five of the suspects were arrested near Naas in Co Kildare - while two others were detained at Newland's Cross in Dublin - following a high speed chase.
