A viable explosive device outside a house in Dublin has been made safe by Army Bomb disposal experts.
The Defence Forces were called to a private residence in Cushlawn Park in Tallaght in the early hours of this morning.
The area was cordoned off by Gardaí and local residents were evacuated.

The scene was declared safe at 3.20am this morning.
The device has been handed over to Gardaí who will continue their investigations.
