A County Kerry gin has been named the best in the world.
Dingle Original Gin took home the top prize at the World Gin Awards in London last night.
The drink also took home the top award in the London Dry Gin category.
The company has said it is an “incredibly proud moment for our independent, family owned gin.”
Elliot Hughes, business development manager at the company, said the award will “shine a light on our gin’s heritage and hometown of Dingle.”
"Winning this award for our Dingle Original Gin proves that we must be doing something right,” said Elliot Hughes, business development manager at the company.
"It’s also fantastic to be representing Ireland as a world leader in producer of gin, as well as shining a light on our gin's heritage and hometown of Dingle, Co Kerry," Elliot Hughes said.

Dingle Gin was one of only two gins being produced in Ireland when it launched in 2012.
The Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland (AFBI) said more than 50 new brands have been launched in recent years by 20 gin producers.
The company credits Dingle Gin’s “unique flavour profile” to ingredients foraged from the surrounding County Kerry landscape.
Ingredients include rowanberry from the mountain ash trees, fuchsia, bog myrtle, hawthorn and heather.
