Tributes are being paid to British film director Tony Scott who has died after jumping from a bridge in Los Angeles.
The death of the 68-year-old is being investigated as a suicide and there are reports a note was found in his office.
On Twitter Director Ron Howard and Stephen Fry have paid tribute to the “Top Gun,” ‘Days of Thunder” and “Beverly Hills Cop 2″ director.
He was the younger brother of film-maker Ridley Scott.
Hollywood reporter Alan Silverman says there is no immediate indication that Scott was having trouble in his private life.
