The DIY retailer Screwfix is to open 10 new stores in Ireland, creating up to 160 jobs.
The company says the new outlets will be open by the end of January 2021.
This follows the opening of stores in Sandyford, Swords, Waterford, Ennis and Kilkenny earlier this year.
The new positions will be across retail management, service assistants and supervisor roles.
The British firm says its rapid growth has seen it open at least 50 stores a year in Ireland and the UK for the past decade, making it one of the fastest growing retailers.
Screwfix CEO John Mewett said: "Throughout the coronavirus crisis, customer and colleague safety has been our number one priority.
"I am incredibly proud of all Screwfix colleagues for their support in continuing to provide our customers with the products they need to keep homes warm, safe and with power.
"The growing demand for convenience means we’re opening more stores to help our busy customers get their jobs done."
Screwfix is part of international home improvement company Kingfisher.
It has over 1,360 stores in nine countries across Europe, supported by a team of over 77,000 people.
Kingfisher operates under retail brands including B&Q, Castorama, Brico Dépôt, Screwfix and Koçtaş.
