Former Radio 1 DJ Chris Denning has been jailed for 13 years in the UK for sexually assaulting 24 boys, some as young as ten.

The court heard the 73 year old groomed his young victims by taking them to see recordings of Top of the Pops.

He also introduced them to a string of stars including the disgraced late DJ Jimmy Savile.

About a dozen of his victims were in court when his sentence was passed.
