Doctor Who actress Mary Tamm has died after a long battle against cancer.
She played the Doctor’s companion Romana alongside Tom Baker in the late 70s.
The actress, who was born in Bradford in West Yorkshire, was 62.

Her agent Barry Langford says she had a “zest for life”.
