American animal welfare charity, Hope for Paws, rescued a dog who was living under a shed for a year after it's owner passed away. 

A video has surfaced online explaining how Woody ended up to be under the shed.

Woody was surviving on food and water that neighbors would leave out for him but was in desperate need of care. 

Hope for Paws rescued Woody from the shed once they heard his story. He was taken to their shelter where he was washed, cleaned and groomed.

Hope for Paws are now trying to find a permanent home for the adorable rescued dog.
