Dogs Trust Ireland has launched a new advert campaign that will tug at the heartstrings of any dog lover.

It sees a dog with a doll of a man in glasses, waiting for him to come and collect him.

After staring at this doll several times, the man eventually comes to take the dog home.

All this is done to the backdrop of the song 'I Only Want to Be With You'.

The campaign is trying to raise awareness of hundreds of dogs at Dogs Trust Re-homing Centre in Dublin.

The Trust says it want to show just how important a new owner is to a dog waiting for their special someone.
