Donald Trump has officially launched his presidential re-election campaign, a year-and-a-half before the 2020 election.
Speaking at a rally in Florida, he described his country's economy as the "envy of the world" - saying the American Dream is "bigger and stronger than ever before".
Signs around the stadium featured the message 'keep America great' - an adaptation of his 2016 slogan 'make America great again'.
The gathered crowd in Orlando chanted 'build that wall' - with the US President claiming 400 miles of his proposed Mexico-US border wall would be build by the end of next year.
During his speech Donald Trump returned to a number of his frequent talking points, including criticisms of the "fake news media" and US immigration laws.
He hit out at Democrats, accusing them of wanting to the country divided into factions and tribes.
Wrapping up his speech, he told supporters: "With your help, with your love and your devotion and with your drive, we are going to keep on working, we are going to keep on fighting and we are going to keep on winning, winning, winning".
In next year's general election, President Trump will face whichever Democrat emerges as the party's candidate following a competitive primary campaign over the next year.
More than 20 candidates are hoping to secure the nomination, and the Democratic hopefuls will gather next week for the first round of debates.
Polls show former vice president Joe Biden as the clear frontrunner for the nomination, with strong support for candidates such as Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.
A number of very early polls have shown Trump lagging behind Democrats in terms of possible support in key states.
However, with more than 500 days to go until election day, commentators have urged caution when it comes to the early polls.
