Donald Trump praised the healthcare system of a non-existent African country during remarks at the United Nations.
The US president twice referenced Nambia when speaking to African leaders.
There are several countries with similar names - notably The Gambia, Zambia and Namibia - but none called Nambia.
After referencing the 'country' during opening remarks at the working lunch, President Trump later observed: "We will continue our partnership on critical health initiatives. Uganda has made incredible strides in the battle against HIV/AIDS.
"In Guinea and Nigeria, you fought a horrifying Ebola outbreak. Nambia’s health system is increasingly self-sufficient.

An official transcript of the speech from the White House has since clarified that President Trump was referring to Namibia - the sparsely populated & largely desert country in southern Africa.
The US president has made a number of infamous gaffes over the last year - including a mysterious tweet about "covfefe", and another concerning the "unpresidented" nature of China's capture of a US Navy research drone.
He faced fresh social media - and indeed traditional media - mockery over his latest error:
