Donald Trump has shared AI-generated images falsely claiming singer Taylor Swift has backed him in the US presidential election.
In a post on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, Trump wrote "I accept" beside a fake image of the singer dressed in the colours of the American flag.
The artificially-generated image of Taylor Swift is surrounded by the caption: 'Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump'.
The post also shows screenshot images from other accounts with people dressed in 'Swifties for Trump' t-shirts.
Another image, which includes the word 'satire' in the headline, claims that recently cancelled concerts in Austria due to a terror threat are seeing 'Swifties turning to Trump'.
The 'Bad Blood' singer has not endorsed any candidate but has previously criticised Mr Trump on her X (Twitter) account.
She took aim at what she referred to as the former President’s "calculated dismantling" of the US Postal Service in August 2020, claiming Mr Trump was "taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely".
Donald Trump’s ineffective leadership gravely worsened the crisis that we are in and he is now taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely. Request a ballot early. Vote early.

She also took to social media over his handling of the Black Lives Matter protests earlier that year, writing: “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump.”

It comes as the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Chicago later where Kamala Harris will be officially announced as the party's nominee for the presidential election.
US President Joe Biden who until last month was set to be the Democratic nominee will make a keynote address on opening night.
Donations to the Democrats have soared since President Biden said he would not seek re-election.
Several celebrity names are in the running to make an appearance at the convention - among them Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.
US network CNN said on Sunday that while high-profile speakers are still being finalised "speculation has run rampant" around the two stars.
