32 jobs are at risk in Co Offaly, with the possible closure of the EJ iron foundry.
A statement from the company, which manufactures a range of manhole covers and drainage grates for the construction industry, says it is fully committed to retaining a competitive Irish business with a sustainable future.
A consultation process is underway with the employees at the foundry in Birr.
