The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is considering a garda file on the shooting of a boy in Dublin following a second arrest over the weekend.
Sean Scully (6) was shot while playing near his home at Croftwood Gardens in Ballyfermot in June.
He suffered spinal injuries after being shot in the neck.
It is believed he was caught in the line of fire as the gunman tried to shoot another man in the area.
As part of their investigation, gardaĆ arrested a man aged in his 20s on Saturday evening.
He was questioned at Ballyfermot garda station, but has since been released without charge.
It is the second arrest to date and gardaĆ say a file has now been sent to the DPP.
