A driver may have “life-changing” injuries following a road crash in Gilford, Co Down.
The PSNI said the crash between a black Ford Fiesta and a red Hyundai I20 Sport happened shortly before 11pm last night on the Banbridge Road, Gilford.
“The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which may be life-changing,” it said.

The second driver suffered injuries not believed to be serious.
No other people were in the cars at the time.
The Banbridge Road was closed overnight and has since reopened.
The PSNI are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
They are particularly interested in anyone with dashcam footage who was in the area at the time.
