Motorists are being advised to drive with care due to icy stretches across parts of the country this morning.

Frosty conditions and ice remain on some routes, particularly on untreated surfaces.

Drivers are being reminded that stopping distances are 10 times longer when driving in ice and snow.

They are asked to slow down and allow plenty of extra time for your journey.
