There are reports of patches of ice lingering on some roads around the country, as temperatures dipped to freezing in places.

Drivers are being warned to take extreme care, and to slow down as there's a risk of black ice.

AA Roadwatch are reporting four crashes on the M1 southbound between Junction 20 Jonesborough and Junction 15 Castlebellingham.
