Gardaí in Co. Cork have arrested a man following a cannabis seizure yesterday evening.
In a planned operation, gardaí searched a house in Mitchelstown and found cannabis plants and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of over €130,000.
The man who was arrested is in his late 40s.
He was questioned by Gardaí in Mitchelstown and has been released without charge - as gardaí prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Elsewhere, a man in his late 20s is still being questioned by gardaí over a drugs seizure in Dublin.
€104,000 worth of cannabis plants along with €30,000 worth of Benzodiazepine tablets were discovered during a search of a house in Sundale, Tallaght last night.
A man in his late 20s was arrested at scene and is currently being held at Terenure Garda Station.
