Gardai have seized €70,000 worth of drugs in County Tipperary.

The raid -is part of an ongoing investigation into organised criminal activity and drug trafficking in the area.

Gardai carried out a search operation earlier today at a wooded area at Carraigeen near Clonmel and discovered cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €70,000 along with cocaine with a street value of €3,000-pending analysis.

No one was arrested during the operation and enquiries are continuing.
