Gardaí have uncovered drugs worth €186,000 at a house in Dublin.

The house in Clonadalkin was searched last night as part of an ongoing investigation into drug dealing in the city.

During the search, Gardaí found diamorphine and cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €186,000 along with other drug paraphernalia.

A man in his early 40s has been arrested.

He is being held at Ronanstown Garda Station.

The investigation is continuing.
