Cannabis and cocaine worth an estimated €200,000 has been seized in Co Galway.
A wooded area near Ballinasloe was searched today as part of an ongoing investigation targeting organised crime gangs in the Western Region.
Gardaí discovered a number of containers buried in the ground, which contained the cannabis and cocaine.
The drugs are believed to have an estimated street value of €200,000.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
They're being detained at Galway Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
