If you're already in trouble with the police, chances are that offering them a drink won't make things any better.
One man learnt this the hard way after he pulled out a beer instead of a license after being stopped in Georgia, USA.
Police claim that Damon Tobias Exum crashed into a patrol car before driving off. A chase ensued and he was eventually pulled over.
According to Capital Bay, Exum appeared highly intoxicated and had not been aware of the earlier collision. It was then that he ended any doubts about his condition by handing the officer a can of lager instead of his license.
Exum is now facing eight misdemeanour charges. It is his third arrest for drink driving.
Maybe his friends need to teach him a lesson - like the man in this video, who was convinced by a team of actors that he had been in a coma for a decade.
