Dublin Airport says a starling that had taken up residence in Terminal 1 has been rescued.
The bird named 'Charlie' is on his way back to the wild with the help of staff.
There had been some concerns about the bird's welfare after it was discovered they had been living in the airport building for over a month.
Today is hunky dory for our T1 bird, Charlie, as his T1 adventures have come to an end ❤️ 🐦⬛

The airport said the bird is perfectly healthy and had plenty of access to food and drink.
Last week authorities said they were working on a plan in consultation with wildlife and bird experts to get the bird outside.
"Helping a small (and very speedy!) bird to get out of such a vast and busy building is no easy task," Dublin Airport said.
It added that a process was underway "which will get the bird safely on its way very soon."
The airport also thanked the public for leaving the rescue "to the professionals."
